Our Apostle

     Apostle Campbell has been married to Deacon Tommie A. Campbell since 1966.  They are the parents of six children, thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  

 

    In 1998, Dr. Campbell received a Citation of Honor from the Harnett Area Business and Professional Women as one of the 'Women to Watch'.  In 1999, Dr. Campbell founded Victory Christian Academy, the first black-owned, private school in Harnett County. The schools motto: "Striving today to excel tomorrow" reflected the standard of excellence modeled by Dr. Campbell. She is the recipient of the "I Have a Dream" Award, presented by The Cultural Arts Association of Fuquay Varina, NC, for 2006.  Dr. Campbell graduated from the Pastoral Care in Community Course 2005-2006 at Duke University Divinity School in Durham, N.C.  In 2011 she was honored by President Barack Obama with the Presidential Volunteer Service Award in Washington, DC.   Also, in 2011 she received the North Carolina National Guard Volunteer Service Award, given to her by North Carolina Army National Guard at a ceremony in Ft. Bragg, NC.  In January 2014, Dr. Campbell received a "Living Legend" award from The Official Harnett County Martin Luther King Jr. Observance Committee. In April, she was awarded "Minister of the Year" award by Harnett County NAACP.  Dr. Campbell have served on various boards and received many awards.  These are a few of her accomplishments over the years.
